30 Falconets invited for FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup

Coach Peter Devdevbo has picked 30 players ahead of Falconets Fifa U20 Women’s World Cup campaign.

Chinwendu Ihezuo, Sandra Chichi and Valerie Awelewa top the list of players invited for competition billed for Papua New Guinea in November.

The Falconets who are runners-up at 2014 edition have been pooled in Group B with Spain, Japan, Canada and Spain as they would be gunning for their first title.

Invited players must to report the Serob Legacy Hotel, Abuja on Tuesday, September 27 with their training kits, birth certificates and international passports.

Coach Devdebo’s ladies defeated Liberia, DR Congo and South Africa to reach the competition.

Nigeria face Japan in their first game on November 13, 2016 at the Bava Park, Port Moresby.
