Duty benefits for Bangladesh prolonged until 2029 by WTO decision

Bangladesh’s global trade, primarily reliant on duty benefits under LDC category, has propelled it to become the second-largest apparel supplier globally.
166 members of WTO at the Ministerial Conference affirmed the decision.
Currently, 73 per cent of the Bangladesh’s shipments enjoy LDC-linked market access, making it the highest beneficiary among 45 LDCs.
