The other two communities are neighbours to Peremabiri.

The military invasion, according to concerned indigenes of Peremabiri Community, was allegedly coordinated by loyalists of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.

According to eyewitnesses, though the soldiers, numbering over 50, claimed they were in search of suspected members of the new militant group, the Niger Delta Avengers, the soldiers beat up two youth leaders, Pastor Lucky and Bernard Ogunawei, to a state of coma.
