South Korea’s apparel imports from Vietnam ease 7.7% to $3.4 bn

In 2023, South Korea’s apparel imports from Vietnam declined by 7.75 per cent to $3.443 billion, influenced by economic uncertainty.
Despite a decrease from $3.733 billion in 2022, Vietnam remains South Korea’s second-largest apparel supplier.
The trade data reflects a slowdown in demand, with trousers and shorts being the dominant imported items.
